The 49th Ward Office is co-sponsoring a meeting tonight to discuss the ramifications of the legalization of recreational marijuana, which takes affect Jan. 1.
Partnering with Equity and Transformation and a Just Harvest, the meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Willye B. White Park, 1610 W. Howard.
The “Chronic Conversation” series is aimed at dispelling myths while raising awareness on HB 1438, the law legalizing cannibus. It was approved May 31, 2019.
I see immigrants cannot risk weed on their personhood. 🙁
