The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce will be hosting several Christmas events on Sunday, December 8, starting at 11 a.m.
Lytle House located on 5517 N Broadway.
The first event – a delicious Mexican brunch with Santa – will start at Mas Alla Del Sol, 5848 N. Broadway, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon.
Then, after enjoying your meal with Santa Claus you will stroll over to Cedar Park, 5311 N. Winthrop, to “Kidkindmarket,” where young entrepreneurs will sell their handmade gifts from Noon to 1:30 p.m..
Then, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. participants will be invited to write holiday cards for the clients for Care For Real, an organization, located at 5339 N. Sheridan Road, that provides food, clothing and other support for people in need.
Also at 3 p.m., the Edgewater Playhouse will offer an open gym, where children 6 and under can build their own stuffed animals and have tasty snacks. This event runs until 5 p.m.
From 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. there will be a stroll with Santa and Pax the goat – the Pet Mayor of Edgewater – along Bryn Mawr between Sheridan and Broadway. Businesses will light up the route with beautiful Christmas colors.
Then day wraps with at Lytle House, 5517 N. Broadway, where guests can get a picture with Santa and Pax. This event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Events are for all ages so come and bring your whole family to take a jolly stroll through Edgewater.
