Police said an unknown offender walked up to the victim and shot Macksantino at about 12:15 p.m.. The shooter then fled down Paulina Street, according to CBS2 Chicago. A gun was recovered near the platform, according to a Chicago Police spokesperson, who also said the victim was “known to police.”
