The popular Glenwood Sunday market, at 1241 W. Pratt in Rogers Park, opens this weekend for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdown.

The market, just west of Sheridan, runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will initially sell goods on a pre-order basis only, to limit physical contact.

“GSM is opening slowly and cautiously as a pre-order, pre-pay, pick-up market as we seek to assure the health and safety of our vendors, shoppers, volunteers, staff, neighbors and friends,” organizers said in a statement on their website.

Opening day vendors include Bennison’s Bakery, Finn’s Farmstand (including Elsie Mae’s), Hardin’s Gamily Farm, Katherine Anne Confections, pHlour Bakery, Phoenix Bean Tofu, Stamper Cheese, That Pickle Guy, Urban Tables, and Vangie’s Farm.
