Eater Chicago reports that the Empirical Brew Pub, on Morse in Rogers Park, may close next month if a buyer is not found.
The company wants to focus on expanding beer distribution and operations at its Ravenswood taproom and will be unaffected by a potential sale or shutter, the website reported, citing a press release from the brewery. If Empirical fails at selling the brewpub, it will close on October 14, the website reported.
