Due to the heavy rain Tuesday, the Senn performance of the musical “Matilda” has been delayed by one day.

There has been some trouble with the electrical equipment caused by the heavy rain.

The performance for Wednesday, May, 4th was been delayed to Thursday, May 5th, at 6 p.m.

The show is free and is still will go on!

RogersEdge Reporter Jocelin Andrade sat down with Senn student Dyno Hunter about the musical.

Jocelin Andrade: So can you tell me a little bit about Matilda?

Dyno Hunter: We started in February and we’ve been building platforms. And it’s like, so we had to build one platform, and then another one, and then we had to put legs on it and then put wheels. And so we did that. And then we built stairs. And we have like, it took three or four months almost.

Jocelin Andrade: Can you tell me a little bit about the plot of Matilda?

Dyno Hunter: It’s this girl. I think she’s around five. And she’s the only one in her class who can read and like to understand things. And it tells her story and how the people she sees everyone in the school or not. All the adults in her lives are like they’re opposed to her except for one. And it tells like how she was like her first few days of school and everything.

Enjoy the performance and let’s celebrate all the hard work put into this show!
