Rogers Park hosts Community Pet Day

Pottawattomie Park, 7340 N. Rogers Park, is welcoming Rogers Park furry friends this upcoming Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help keep pets healthy and safe, according to their press release

They will be offering low-cost vaccines and microchips to 100 pets.

They will have Do-It-Yourself pet toy stations for kids and they will be offering free pet ID tags.

This event is cash only and requires exact change.

All animals must be restrained with a leash or in a carrier and pets over four months of age must have current rabies vaccination and dog license or owners are required to buy them there.

The event is open to residents of all ages.
