Senn is celebrating its first in-person homecoming week since 2019 with daily dress up days as well as two dances tomorrow night.
Students embraced the theme days, which included pajama day, mix and match day, class

color day, and pop culture day. The return to in person learning has allowed students to show some enthusiasm for school, which many have missed through the many months of remote learning.
Many of the ideas were decided by students, as well as Senn’s Climate and Culture
team. Senior Laila Calderon said, “[decisions on Homecoming] should [be decided by students] because not all adults are going to know what students are into. Students have a better view point on the latest trends.”
The whole school enjoyed an afternoon pep rally on the back lawn of Senn yesterday,

celebrating the many accomplishments of our various athletic teams. The rally ended with a send off for the now 6-0 football team who delivered a big Homecoming win against Foreman High School.
Climate and Culture director Wendy Boatman said of the week, “School Spirit is in the air! Many are ready for the the dances on Friday. Tickets are going fast, as Bulldogs make plans for the dances!”
In order to respect social distancing, Senn will hold two dances. The 9th and 10th grade dance will be held in the cafeteria from 3:30-5:30. The 11th and 12th grade dance will also be held in the cafeteria from 7-10.
