Rogers Parkers Urged to Shop Where You Live

The Rodgers Park Business Alliance will kick off its month-long holiday celebration, Live Love Shop Rogers Park, with a number of events later this month.

The program, which encourages residents to use neighborhood businesses for holiday shopping, will kick off November 30, which is designated as Small Business Saturday. R. Public House, 1508 W. Jarvis, will be a Small Business Welcome Station from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Rogers Park Art Gallery will host a holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also Nov. 30, Picnic Wine and Provisions, 7301 N. Sheridan, will host a Small Business Holiday Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..

Live Love Shop Rogers Park will run from Nov. 30 through Dec. 31, and will feature stores offering a shopping rebate program as well as special discounts and promotions. Shoppers can earn a $25 rebate if they collect $100 in receipts from participating stores, with $50 offered to those with $150 or more in receipts. Full rebate details can be found at rpba.org. 

Participating businesses include Archies Cafe, Audio Archeology, Bark Place, ChiTown Magpie, Lakeside Treasures, Nodd Pottery, North Loft Yoga, Picnic Wine and Provisions, Pub 626, R Public House, Rogers Park Art Gallery, Rogers Park Provisions, Smack Dab, South of the Border, Susan Hat, Taste Food and Wine, The Leather Archives and Museum, Third Coast Comics, Urban Tables, and V-Tone Fitness.
