Are you looking for things to do this summer? Rogers Park and Edgewater are perfect places to find local events happening soon. Here are a few you might check out. (And if you have events that aren’t listed here, let us know. We’ll spread the word!)

Food Trucks at Berwyn Red Line Station

Food enthusiasts are in for a weekly feast as the Berwyn Red Line stop prepares to fill the location with food trucks Mondays.

Being held at the soon-to-be-closed Berwyn Red Line station — a result of a planned three-year-long reconstruction — the first-ever “Food Trucks at Berwyn Station” will feature a variety of food trucks. Changing each week, past trucks included Da Pizza Dude, Raheem’s Chicken and Waffles and Sam’s Ice Cream Truck.

Live music from local musicians will also be featured at the event.

The “Food Trucks at Berwyn Station” is sponsored by the Rewind Cafe, the 48th Ward and the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce. The event is scheduled to be held every Monday through Aug. 26.
