The arrest came after police released images of two people wanted in connection with the shootings, which took place at about 4 p.m. Monday.
Two men, ages 34 and 41, were injured. One was taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston with wounds to his back, buttocks, abdomen and groin. The other declined treatment after suffered what police described as a graze wound.
