Two men were shot on the platform of the Argyle Red Line stop Monday afternoon.
Chicago police said a 34-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his back, belly, buttocks, groin, and was transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition. A 41-year-old male victim sustained a graze wound and declined medical treatment on scene.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m.
According to a report in the Chicago Tribune, police said both victims had prior run-ins with law enforcement and were targeted by the gunman, who remained at large.
