The 5th annual Rogers Pork event will be held this Saturday, August 4 from noon to 9 p.m. It will be located in Jarvis Square between Ashland and Greenview Ave.
The event is free and will feature more than 40 vendors and two stages of live music.
VIP passes are $20 and include reserved seating in a shaded area near each stage, a bartender, and a glass of Rose that comes with the ticket.
Proceeds will benefit A Just Harvest, a local anti-hunger organization. Their programs feed hungry people, create jobs and develop community advocacy, according to their website.
Food vendors include the local R Public House, Robinson’s No.1 Ribs BBQ truck from Oak Park, BBQ by Amazing Aaron and Three Legged Tacos.
Arts and crafts booths in the event will range from selling paintings, metal and glass work to having a DIY tie-dye stand with Pamela Plotkin.
The East Stage will have bands playing from 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. and the West Stage will have bands playing from noon to 8 p.m.
Pets are welcome as several vendors are directed towards animals, such as Bark Place, Dame Doodler and the Rogers Bark Pet Salon.
