With Chicago’s cold weather finally over, farmer’s markets are making coming back to Rogers Park. Here are a few farmer’s markets you can visit to buy produce to stay healthy during the summer.

Every Monday, from June 4 to October 15, the Rogers Park neighborhood will host a farmer’s market from 4-8 p.m. This event takes place right in front of the Loyola CTA train station at 6550 N. Sheridan Road.

The market’s mission is to “increase the access of healthy and locally grown and produced foods to the community by supporting community members, local food economy, family farms and local producer,” according to their website.

If you’re interested in being a guest vendor, organizing a kids activity, or performing at the market contact the market manager, Chelsea Denault at cdenault@luc.edu.

Edgewater also has a farmers market, that has been going on for 26 years. Located at Broadway Armory Parking Lot at 5917 N Broadway St., it runs from June 16 to October 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
