Police have arrested a person in connection with a Rogers Park fire Tuesday that forced a woman to jump to her death. The Chicago Tribune reported that Margaret Reed, 44, of the 2100 block of W. Foster Ave., has been charged with aggravated arson when it was known a person was present, and murder. The fire started early Tuesday morning in a four-story brick building in the 1700-block of W. Touhy. Fire officials said Maria Silva, 51, jumped from the building before rescuers could reach her. You can read the Tribune’s report here.
