6th Annual Pivot Arts Festival

The 6th annual Pivot Art Festival is going to take place June 1st through June 10th. This festival is a way of supporting multidisciplinary artists through arts incubator program and promote the creation of imaginative performance events.

Their festival this year will be featuring the Chicago premiere of Austin Texas-based theatre collective Rude Mechs along with a line up of top artistic innovators in music, dance, and theatre from Chicago and beyond.

Here’s a list of this year’s performances and their dates:

June 1st Festival Launch will be performing.

June 2 celebrate community parade featuring walkout theatre which will take place at Senn Park.

The new Praipare School at the Colvin House by Corey Smith, “You’re His Child” by Emmy Bean and “The Life and Times of Terry” by Vanessa Valliere will be performing June 2nd and 3rd.

Broad Night: Demystifying Women’s Health will be performing on June 4.

A conversation with RUDE MECHS will be performing on June 6.

What’s Next will be performing on June 7th

Rude Mechs (Austin, TX) will be performing on June 8 and 9, The? Unicorn? Hour? Will also be performing along with Art and Activism: Pre-show  Discussion will be on June 9th.

On the last day, Ice Cream and Improv 2018 will be performing. Ginger Krebs/Chicago Fringe Opera.
