Porter Moser nets new contract with Loyola


Loyola coach Porter Moser was awarded a five-year contract extension Wednesday, weeks after guiding the Ramblers to a historic Final Four appearance in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed by Loyola University Chicago, but estimates were that Moser’s new contract will pay him around $1 million a year, well above the $420,000 he was making prior to the Ramblers’ Cinderella run.
